Originally a gate leg table long before we acquired it, this solid wood - mahogany we believe - console table was in need of care.
It has been stripped and hand sanded, repairs made and painted in a combination of jet Blackjack by Frenchic and Cambridge by Fusion Mineral paints, both water based low VOC paints suitable for any room. We have kept, not covered details which shows its original past, albeit at the back, which we rather like to add to it's story.
To finish we have given it a double coat of a wax finish varnish.
